What is brand?


I just want to remind you what is brand. A brand is a representation of your business when you make a relationship with people. Nowadays, internet has had a crucial point to build online-relationship with other people like your prospect, competitor, partner, buyer, and loyal customer.

Building good brand reputation means creating a positive image of your brand. The higher a positive image, the better your brand reputation. What is the example of positive image? The examples are:

- Good sentiment is higher than negative sentiment in social media.

How to manage brand reputation


1. Customers first.
 
The first thing you must consider is customer. It means you have to reveal what your customers want. Reflect about what thing will inspire your customers when you start formulating marketing strategies.

2. What makes you unique.

Think all points creatively that make your brand unique, such as your services, products, packaging, treatment, programs, etc.  If you succeed determining what things make you stand out among the rest, you can make your brand reputation better.

One item which you should consider is a logo. A logo is your brand identity that can make emotional engagement with your consumer and can make your potential customer interest to make engagement with you. 

3. Consistency.

Once you build a brand, you build a relationship with your consumer. So you have to deliver consistent messages to your potential customer and current consumer so that they can understand your message thoroughly.

4. Securing your brand name.

If you do not claim your brand name in all channels like domain name, business name, social-media page site, and so forth, people can use your name and they have a chance to misrepresent you online.

6. Respond from feedback.

Performing business without complaint is impossible. There must be any complaints, even though very little one. The thing you must concentrate is, how you handle and respond a negative feedback, negative sentiment, or negative content.

Minimize the worst thing that can happen by making an effort to respond the complaint quickly, appropriately, and kindly manner. 

Responding with defensive manner and angrily action can make your brand reputation go down easily. Once you get a bad image from people, it is hard to recover your brand image.
