The ultimate sense of marketing is understand our customer's need and take action about those needs. Why marketing is a must? because marketing can effect to company's growth. Anyone who has business has a desire to grow their business.

We can increase the growth by following ways:

- get more customers
- do action so that customer buy more product
- persuade customer to buy expensive product
- up selling each customer

If one of above ways is done, I am sure it can increase our revenue.

The first step is get more customer. I put this to first step because by acquiring more customer we increase our customer base. The opportunity to increase our revenue is higher.

Now the question is, "How can you use marketing to get more customer?"

We can perform below:

- Do a comprehensive research in order to create a marketing plan
- brainstorming a product development person
- This is still important, price our product or service competitively.
- Convey our message or mission regarding our product based on solution marketing.

It is important to remember and to implement, by taking time picth our sales or marketing efforts to the correct niche market, we will be more productive and not waste our effort and time. How do we know the correct niche market? I have mention it above, " do a comprehensive research in order to create a marketing plan".

Does it need a lot of budget doing this? No. Even, if we have a limited budget, we can do sales and marketing activities. All we need only having thinking more creatively.

I give you several samples about doing marketing campaign:

- Call your partners and ask them to participate with you in co-op advertising.
- by word of mouth (WoM) strategy.
- introducing yourself to free publicity media.

Last, when we perform marketing activities, don't forget to track our marketing effort. Create a database. This is for our next research and feedback whether our effort is success or not. If our marketing is not working, we can stop this and replace with another method.
