First of all, remember that you must know your customer.
This is first element. Marketing is a deeper understanding of consumer behavior and market conditions, having to understand more deeply, marketing is an activity to develop it further.

Second, meet customer's needs.
One of the challenges is the ever-changing needs of consumers even may not always sure what they need. Therefore one of the marketing activity is to research what is needed by customers.

Third, you have to develop communication to your customer.
The objective is to obtain the right meaning to the right customer. In order to get right message, you have to design persuasive messages to connect with your target or your customer to gain best relationships. The point is: Marketing is about educating prospects and customer about high quality products to create a desire.

There is another way to develop communication to your customer, tell your company's story. You can explain your company's story via your web site company, blog, Facebook fan pages, twitter, and other media such as email, newsletter, and so on. After developing a communication, then you will have good conversations and hold to build lasting relationships. Things to remember is marketing is the progression of building interaction with prospects and customers.  

Fourth, make your customer loyal to your product.
How? make them fall in love with your products. Treat your customer delightfully by appealing experiences. Through this activity, your customer will feel so strongly about your product. One example of this, if you promise to deliver your product within 3 days, sent it in 2 days or one day faster. If you perform this activity, you will be able to develop customer trust easily.

Finally, marketing is everything a company does.
Marketing activities are researching, naming, branding, pricing, advertising, response, promotion, and Public relation. This activity is comprehensive process in creating strategies to obtain company goals especially attract and connect customers and prospects with your company.

Things to remember, all above element or scope of marketing which are performed, should provide measurable results and intensify company value. In other words, marketing focused on profit.
