There are two things that are fundamental, conventional, and simple. But, unfortunately these things are always forgotten by us. These are the basic knowledge and elementary idea, but it is powerful if you conduct it persistently. 

So, I will remind you about social marketing, a basic social marketing method but has powerful in result (powerful impact). They are:

Be consistent with your social media footprint.


I am sure you have several social media account, like LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, and so on.

If you want to perform branding persistently, put your logo, tagline, username, font, color, and other aspect consistently.

For example:

- Put your name in LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, and so on, with the same name. For instance, put Marketing for Beginners for the all of the account name, and so does the blog’s name.

-Be persistent of your tagline, image logo, color, etc.

So, if people try to search your name or brand in search engine and across the social media site, they will find you and remember you because your brand is consistent and easy to remember.

Proactive customer Listening


By using appropriate social media tools, you can easily find people who mention you or your brand whether with positive sentiment or negative sentiment.

The things that you must conduct are responding the people who have already mention you. They will like if people respond them. This is an ultimate human nature. Human loves to be responded. They like if you dedicate to answer and respond their complaint. 

They like if you appreciate their positive mention. Suppose the prospect mention you with positive opinion, thank him and try to keep the conversation going. 

This is the basic theory based on fundamental human nature (human love to interact with other).
