Marketing plan is a well-known term for practitioners of marketing.
Before they run marketing activities, they usually develop a marketing plan. Therefore,
the marketing plan is an important thing that must be learned and practiced by the
marketing beginners.
Today,
I learned about Marketing Plan. I got this material from book that I read. I
intend to write shortly in order to study chronically. Why I summarize the
lesson? I want to study step by step persistently.
Why
a company has to make MP (Marketing Plan)?
Marketing
plan definitely is needed by company because of it’s purpose :
- As a guidance for marketers.
Without
Marketing Plan, everyone in company can make individual action that is not
coordinated. It will make a disorganized action.
- Financial discipline maker.
Without
Marketing Plan, financial commitment is no guided.
- As a performance evaluation process.
With
Marketing Plan, company performance can be evaluated continuously with constant
parameter or indicator.
- Change identification process.
Alteration
in all sector is need to be perceived from time to time in Marketing Plan as a
parameter to make a decision.
- As a instrument of study.
Marketing
Plan can be functioning as study instrument for all people in company, from top
leader to officer and marketer along with front liners.
Process
that has to be done in making Marketing Plan.

- Objective
- Strategy
- Action
- Monitoring and control.
