Marketing team at your company may have a good marketing
strategy. However, a good strategy would be useless if it does not run
consistently. This strategy is implemented with the goal to achieve sales
targets. Beside this, there is another more important targets, i.e. customer
satisfaction for your product or service. Therefore, the reliable marketing
strategy is very important to created and implemented in order to prevent a
decline in sales or a decrease in the number of consumer satisfaction.
There are several factors that can determine whether the
strategy is a reliable strategy or not. Some practitioners say that the factors
are : marketing strategy that can be run in a controlled system, marketing
strategy that dynamically following both of the situation well in your
company's situation or circumstances outside of your company, marketing
strategies that follow the alteration of consumer behavior, and marketing
strategies that apply some 'style' marketing. In conclusion, if you just apply
one 'style' marketing strategy, monotonous and rigid in the application of
marketing, and there are no clear Key Performance Indicator (KPI), then I can
say that your marketing strategy is not been called a reliable strategy.
No matter whether your company is run in the garage of your
home or you operate large company, you must have a marketing strategy to run
the company so that you can achieve a maximum sales target. Without a strategy,
you will lose your way in running the company. Make it even simpler strategy,
then start it. Create an indicator of the success of every step that you do.
Test it. If successful, go ahead and make innovations. When it fails, evaluate
and create innovation regarding that. Through a well proven marketing strategy,
then certainly the target of your sales will increase, and you will not be
worried about the emergence of new competing products. One thing to remember
is, make a marketing strategy that makes consumer always find a unique your product
or service. And you have to focus on it.

From there you will be able to make innovations with ease. For example, in a
marketing activity, namely the promotion. You can make an indicator of success
in this regard. For example, in sub activities of promotion such as spread
leaflets in the area A. You must record the number of brochures that you
created and spread in the area A. You should note how many days your activities
in spreading leaflets. How many people become familiar with your product in
area A. From people who already know your product, how many people decide to
buy your product. And so on. From the data you collect, you can do research to
determine whether you have a successful marketing activities to achieve sales
targets or not. Of this sub-activity progress, you can make innovations to
strengthen your marketing strategy. And there are many other examples that you
can apply to your company.
In conclusion, above is the best practice, examples of
activities in order to renew your marketing strategy. The trick are: you should create a key performance indicator
in all activities, test your strategy in all activities, do research, if the
results are unsatisfactory, you can focus on making improvements to the
strategy in these activities. Do this constantly and consistently. I am sure
