The lesson is Google ads basic. Today, the material is focus on how google ads help your business.

Here are the points


1.People are seeking the information they need on Google search.

2. You (your business) can reach this people (we called it "audiences") if you (your business) is displayed on the search result.

3. There are two ways reaching those audiences:

a. Organic result (you must perform SEO or search engine optimization)

b. Paid result (you must be as an advertiser on Google Ads platform)


4. You can build your campaign on Google ads based on your business goals.

5. Below are the example of business goals:

a. Increase sales : online, in-app, in-person, over-the-phone sales.

b. Get more leads : Google ads can help you boost the leads by encouraging audiences to take action.

c. Increase your business website traffics : Google ads can help you getting the right audiences to visit your business landing page.

d. Make  people aware and consider your business : Google ads can influence the audience so that they eager to explore your product or service.

e. Build awareness : Same as point d, but in this point the goal is reaching a broad audience and maximize exposure.

f. Promote your app : Google ads can help you to promote your app, such as increase installs & engagement with your app.


6. The principles of Google ads : relevance, control, and results.

a. Relevance

Comprises : Google ads can help you connecting the right audiences at the right time with the right messages.
It means when the people are looking for the product/service like yours, your ads can appear (on the google search, youtube, etc.) in front of them.


b. Control

Comprises : you can control your budget. It means you can control how much you spend per ad, per day, and so on.
If you want to change the budget, you can adjust you budget, pause, or restart the ads campaign.

c. Results

Comprises : you only pay for the results, such as : clicks to your landing page, calls to your business, etc.
Google ads has a measurement tools to make you observe how your campaigns are performing.
