The important point about consumer buying motives

 

* Individual customer perceive the product in their own terms.

* Customer buyer behavior is buying behavior of a customer who buy good for personal consumption.

* The buying process is a systematic series of actions, repeatable steps, intended to achieve a result.

* A buying motive is an aroused need/drive/desire that stimulates behavior to satisfy the aroused need.

* 4 basic motive types: emotional, rational, patronage, and product.
