As you read in previous article, there are several goals you want to achieve in running Facebook ads campaign, one of them is generating leads. You can call this activity with list building.
I will share my steps in doing list-building especially email list by growing my Facebook Page. So, if you want to build email list, this article may help you and inspire you to take action.
For your information this steps based on my experiences build a list of potential customer in my business (selling clothes).
1. Create Facebook Page
2. Grow your fan
3. Create a funnel
4. Generate leads via funnel
5. Convert leads to email list member
6. Nurture leads
I will discuss those more detail in the next section.
I don't explain you how to create Facebook Page, because there are many tutorials you can find out there.
I will share you my experience to get more like and obtain more fan. So let's start now.
1. My way to grow my Page's fans.
- Update the status twice a day.
Most of the time I update the status in the early morning and after work hour.
- Vary your content.
Sometimes I post an image, other time I post a text, then video.
- In the first three months, just focus on producing content and updating content.
You must create one type of viral content, and then content that contains tips related to your business. Just observe the viral content around you, then share it. You must mix that types of content.
- After three months, I see organic like in my fan page.
If you found this, it means your content is OK. Just need more addition both quality and quantity. There is no need to pay for FB ads.
- Once you have above condition, start promote your fan page.
I utilize all my social media account to promote my fan page. I used Pinterest, Twitter, Google plus, YouTube video. Sometimes I put my Facebook Fan Page link in the content.
- You will see your fan is growing.
If you achieve your target, it is OK. Just continue your work and focus on it. But, if you don't achieve, it means you need utilize FB ads. You must invest some amount of money for this.
2. Funnel creation.
Based on my experience, if your content marketing works, it needs 6 months to see your growing fan.
Once you meet your goal. Now, it's time to create funnel.
- Create a static page.
I usually use WordPress engine. There are a lot of WordPress template or plugin for this usage.
An internet marketer name it landing page. Some people say it squeeze page.
- Create digital product which will be free to get.
For example: eBook. The easiest way is create instructional tutorial (how to) or study case related to your business.
- Once you are ready, prepare the best copywriting for your landing page.
Create copywriting that make people do your want (input their email and subscribe).
- One thing to remember, you must have one clear call-to-action.
Action = people input their email and click subscribe.
3. Generate leads.
You have growing fan page and have created landing page now. Then, it's time to create an outstanding content in your page and put your landing page link.
You must study copywriting and implement it to your fan page content. Test and measure which type of content brings more visitor to your funnel (landing page).
Once you found it, focus on it. You will find that you can generate traffic from your fan page, and start duplicate the way in your another social media account.
4. Leads nurture.
After you tweak your landing page and make your conversion rate higher, you will have a growing list and more subscriber.
Now, it's time to nurture your leads. Your leads is your potential customer. Treat them well. Give valuable information to them. Make a relationship with them. Build trust, make them trust you.
With an outstanding copywriting, send them your offers. Because they trust you, they will respond your offer, and will buy your product or service.
