=> Custom Audiences allow you to securely hash your own data and combine it with hashed Facebook data.

=> The goal of website data:

1. Reach people based on specific actions they’ve taken on your website or mobile app.
2. Re-market based on inferred intent.
3. Create Lookalike Audiences of people similar to your best customers and clients.

=> Website data is obtained from Facebook Pixel.

=> The Facebook pixel is a tiny piece of code that you or your web developer can copy and paste into your existing website.

Pixel data helps Facebook’s ad servers recognize people no matter what device they’re using — as long as they’re signed into Facebook.

Pixel data is a potential seed for a Custom Audience. Use pixel data to target or exclude message delivery to people who visited your website, or specific web pages within a specified time-frame.

You can also include or exclude people based on time spent on your site.

=> Engagement Custom Audience are based on Facebook data only.

=> You can target ad delivery based on how people engage with:

1. Your Facebook Page: Deliver ads to pe3ople who viewed your Page, engaged with your posts or ads, clicked on call-to-action buttons, sent a message to your Page, or saved content from your Page.

2. Videos posted to your Page: Deliver ads to people who watched a certain length or percentage of videos posted to your Page.

3. Your Lead ads: Deliver ad to people who opened a form, opened a form but didn't submit it, or opened and submitted a form.

4. Canvas fullscreen mobile experiences: Deliver ads to people who opened a Canvas experience, or to people who interacted with a Canvas.

=> You can build Custom Audiences in either Ads Manager or Power Editor, or from the Audiences area of your ad account.

=> The ultimate goal of creating custom audiences are to re-marketing, up-selling, and cross-selling.

=> Upselling encourages bigger customer spends.

=> Cross-selling strategies suggest complementary products.

=> A Facebook IQ study found that sequenced marketing messaging may improve outcomes.
